  1. Start your day off with two liters of water on your desk and take regular sips throughout the day. By finishing your bottle, you will have consumed the recommended eight glasses of water a day.
  2. First of all, if you want to stay fit and healthy, you have to get moving. Every day you need to think about how you can get moving in order to keep your body in good shape. There are many little things that you can do to keep moving throughout the day. While going to the gym is a great idea, you don’t have to spend an hour at the gym in order to get the movement that you need. Simply take the time to take the dog for a walk, mow your own lawn, take the stairs, park further away in the parking lot, or even to play with your kids. This will help you to get the exercise that you need on a regular basis and it is also great for lowering your stress level too.
  3. Eat a high fiber diet. This is an important top health tip. This includes whole grains, brown bread, and cereals. Fiber regulates the digestive system and reduces the risk of bowel cancer. Average about 13-18 grams of fiber a day.
  4. Ginger is the other herb which we cannot avoid in any way. With out ginger we cannot prepare any dishes in our kitchen. It is well known for its curative properties and bitter fragrance. The juice of ginger can be crystallized and use afterwards. The juice of ginger will not interact with other medicines or foods we usually consume. Hence, as a medicine the application of ginger is considered as too safe.
  5. During the winter months we tend to get out of the habit of exercising. Spring time is a great excuse to renew that exercise regime and get back into shape. This will also help to increase your energy levels. The key is to begin slowly and gradually. All you need is 15 to 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise a day. You do not even have to leave the house to do this as simple household chores or running up and down the stairs can give you a good workout.
  6. Try out juices of grapes, watermelon, banana, jack fruit, lemon and pineapple during summer. Consumption of fruits and juices reduces body heat and benefits in controlling body temperature.
  7. Tap water is generally not safe for drinking. However, some establishments have water filters / purifiers installed, in which case the water is safe to drink. Packed drinking water normally called as mineral water is a better choice. But if the seal has been tampered, it could be purified tap water. So always make sure that seal is intact before buying.
  8. Getting a good amount of sleep is necessary during the summer season. Your body is more exhausted during the summer season as a lot of energy is lost. So, it is essential for your body to reform the lost energy. For this you need to provide your body an adequate amount of rest. This could be best done by sleeping for at least 7 to 8 hours daily.
