BIOGRAPHY
Yvonne Agneta Ryding (born 14 December 1962, in Eskilstuna, S?dermanland County) (formerly midfield soccer player and nurse) was the Miss Universe titleholder for the year 1984 (crowned at Miami, FL on 9 July 1984). She was the third Swede to win the pageant.
Prior to competing in the Miss Universe pageant, Miss Ryding was a Swedish National Lucia Bride. Following the year as Miss Universe, Yvonne worked within the fashion industry and also did some commission work. In 1988 her homesickness got the upper hand and Yvonne Ryding moved back to Sweden. Immideately after, in 1989, she did one of her most notable appearances as a hostress at the Swedish competition Melodifestivalen 1989. Ryding was a guest of honor of the Miss Universe 2006 competition, held in Los Angeles, United States.
