Saina Nahwal is one of the popular Indian Badminton Players. She is the most talented female Badminton Player in India. Saina Nehwal is one of the best players in World Badminton. One of her achievement is the first women to have entered the Quarter Final Round of Olympic Badminton Games from India.

Introduction to Badminton:

Saina Nehwal was born on March 17th in 1990 at Hisar, Haryana.? Her Parents father Dr.Harvir Sing and mother Usha Rani also Badminton champions in Haryana. Dr, Harvir Sing a scientist at the Directorate of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad .He encouraged her to the game of Badminton. In December 1998, Saina start her training under Coach Nani Prasad at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad as a summer trainee. Further Saina Nehwal trained under S.M Arif, who is Dronacharya Award winning Badminton Coach. And now is getting Coaching from Pullela Gopichand?s Academy of Badminton at Hyderabad.

National Level:

  1. Saina nehwal entered into the National Junior Champion in the year 2004, and 2005 she win the Title.
  2. In 2005 National Senior Championship she was the runner.
  3. IN 2005 Sania won the All India Jr. Ranking Tournaments at Chennai, Cochin, Bangalore and Pune
  4. She won the Titles in 2006,2007
  5. She was the winner at the National Games held at Guwahati.

International Level:

  1. Saina Nehwal is the fist Indian women to select the quarter finals at the Olympic Games.
  2. In 2003 Saina Nehwal made her International Debut at the India Satellite tournament where she reached the top-16 round.
  3. In 2003 she won the Junior Czech Open tournament.
  4. In 2004 she reached the Quarter Final at the Cheers Asian Satellite tournament at Singapore.
  5. In 2005 she won her first international success at the India Satellite tournament.
  6. Saina Nehwal also claimed the Bingo Bonanza Philippines Open title in the year 2006.
  7. In 2007 she played at the All England Open and select for Pre-Quarter Final round, where she lost to World No. 3 player from China.
  8. In 2007 she reached the Quarter Final round at the Macau Open tournament and the Dutch Open tournament.
  9. In 2008 September Sania won the Yonex Chinese Taipei Open tournament.
  10. In 2008 she reached the Semi final round of the LI NING China Masters Super Series tournament.
  11. In 2008 she created a history of the sports.
  12. Saina is the First Indian Women to reach the Quarter Final round of the Badminton event at the Olympic Games.
  13. In 2009 Saina Nehwal creates a history as the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, Indonesia Open.
