PLW – Patiala Locomotive Works has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Act Apprentice. The eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website plw.indianrailways.gov.in till 16th November 2022. The last date to pay fee is 23rd November 2022.

Qualification :
The candidate must have completed his 10th class or equivalent, passed with at least 50% aggregate marks in Science and Maths subjects under 10+2 system of education. ITI pass in respective trade.
Age Limit :
The age limit of the candidate must be minimum of 15 years, and upper age limit of 24 years for the post of Electrician, Mechanic (Diesel) Machinist and Fitter.
And for the post of Welder (G&E) the age limit must be minimum age of 15 years and upper age of 22 years.
The Age Relaxation is Applicable as per rules.
Selection Process :
The selection of the candidates will be made by short listing the candidates on a merit-based according to their scores in the qualifying exam.
Pay Scale :
The selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the apprentice rules. The monthly stipend for PLW Patiala Apprentice post will vary between Rs.7000/- to Rs.8050/-.
Application Fees :
The application fee will be Rs.100/- for UR/2A/2B/OBC candidates and there will be no fee for SC/ST candidates.
